We are looking for a dynamic Broadcast & Digital Meteorologist who enjoys connecting with audiences across TV, digital platforms, and social media while delivering accurate and engaging forecasts. Position Overview This role delivers daily forecasts, severe weather coverage, and engaging weather storytelling across broadcast, web, streaming, and social platforms. You'll also contribute to our Beyond the Forecast daily show and help viewers better understand Northern Michigan's unique weather. Northern Michigan offers one of the most fascinating forecasting environments in the country — from lake effect snow and rapidly changing Great Lakes systems to severe storms and dramatic seasonal shifts. Key Responsibilities Deliver clear, engaging weather forecasts for daily newscastsProvide live coverage during severe weather eventsCreate weather content for broadcast, digital, and social platformsUse modern graphics and forecasting tools to explain weather clearlyEngage with viewers online and through community eventsContribute to Beyond the Forecast and other weather storytelling opportunities What Success Looks Like You're passionate about forecasting accuracy, explaining the science behind weather, and building trust with viewers across all platforms. Please include a recent demo reel and examples of digital or social weather content with your application.
