Job Summary/Description:

WLIO is looking for a weekend Meteorologist/Weekday Reporter needed to be a part of a 3-person weather team. The winning candidate will present the weather during our weekend 6 & 11pm newscasts on our NBC Station. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Live weather casts in our 6 & 11pm newscasts on weekends.
• Post weather casts on our website and Facebook page.
• 3 days during the week, winning candidate will be a one-person band, MMJ, shooting, writing and editing stories for our newscasts.
• We use ENPS and Adobe Premiere and shoot on Canon XA 50 cameras.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Meteorology based 4 year degree.
• Communications/Journalism minor is welcome.
• Taped reel of your on-air weather casts.
