We are looking for a Research Associate I to work in the Department of Diabetes Complications and Metabolism to study mechanisms of diabetes and complications in kidney and liver. You will work in the wet lab and City of Hope animal facility. As a successful candidate you will:
Participate in a diabetes project to study the new mechanism and therapeutic approaches.
Work with PI and a postdoctoral fellow to do the biochemistry, cell culture and animal work for the assigned project
Have experience with cell culture, western blotting, real time PCR, and/or bacterial protein expression Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of research/laboratory experience
Experience in molecular biology, biochemistry and animal work
Experience in animal work preferred City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.
