Job Description:
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Biological Science, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field. Hands-on experience performing RNA extraction. Experience conducting qPCR/PCR molecular testing. Knowledge of molecular biology principles, laboratory procedures, and testing methodologies. Experience maintaining laboratory records and documenting test results. Strong understanding of laboratory safety practices and quality control procedures. Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and prepare laboratory reports. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1 year of molecular testing experience. Experience working with environmental, wastewater, or public health testing programs. Experience with SARS-CoV-2 surveillance testing. Familiarity with regulatory and certification requirements for laboratory operations.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
