Microbiology & Immunology Location 1430 Tulane Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70112 Open Date Nov 21, 2022 Description A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Influenza and Innate Immunity Laboratory to study influenza infection and host innate immune defense. The study will focus on the characterization of the novel host factors identified by our previous work (Li et al., Immunity 2011; Wang et al., Nature Communications, 2017; Fu et al., JEM, 2017) and the impacts of these factors on influenza A virus infection. A background in lung biology and pathology, respiratory pathogens, genetically modified mice and animal models, proteomics, or innate immunity is a plus.
