In this role, you will apply your expertise in microbiology, molecular biology, and biochemistry to support product development, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and advance innovative solutions. Duties Conduct microbiological testing using techniques such as culture, microscopy, ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay), PCR (polymerase chain reaction), RNA extraction, and Western blot analysis to identify and quantify microorganisms. Perform DNA isolation and RNA extraction procedures with precision to support genetic analysis and molecular biology experiments. Maintain strict adherence to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance. Cultivate cells using aseptic techniques within laboratory environments, including cell culture maintenance and contamination prevention. Operate laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for accurate data entry, sample tracking, and report generation. Conduct microbiological assessments in clinical laboratory settings, supporting diagnostic testing and research initiatives. Utilize microscopy tools for detailed examination of microbial samples and cellular structures to gather critical insights. Support scientific research projects by designing experiments, analyzing data, and documenting findings thoroughly. Ensure all laboratory activities comply with FDA regulations related to product safety and efficacy testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects involving biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, and clinical research to meet project milestones efficiently. Experience Proven laboratory experience in microbiology or related fields within a regulated environment such as GLP or CGMP laboratories. Hands-on expertise with DNA isolation, RNA extraction, PCR, ELISA, Western blotting, and microscopy techniques. Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for sample tracking and data management. Experience working in clinical laboratories or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of FDA regulations governing laboratory testing procedures and documentation standards. Strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell culture techniques, and microbiology fundamentals.
