Job Description

Our client, a leading life sciences and food safety organization, is seeking a Microbiology Research Technician to join their team. As a Microbiology Research Technician, you will be part of the Biomonitoring R D team supporting food safety and pathogen diagnostics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job? Support food safety and microbiology research projects within a laboratory environment Perform bacterial pathogen testing and general microbiology procedures Conduct experiments using aseptic techniques and support pathogen detection workflows Assist with PCR and other microbiological assays as needed Analyze experimental data and document findings following Good Documentation Practices What's Needed? BA/BS in Life Sciences such as Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Biology 1-3 years of industry experience in microbiology or food safety testing Experience working with bacterial pathogens in a laboratory environment Knowledge of aseptic technique and pathogen detection procedures Flexibility to work varying start times to support long-running experiments What's in it for me?
