Job Description

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Probiotic Lab Chemist to support our research, development, and quality control efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, biochemistry, or a related field, with hands-on experience in probiotic analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct microbiological and chemical analyses of probiotic strains and finished products. Experienced with USP<64> <2021><2022><61><62>. Operate PCR and Flow Cytometer independently. Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Ability to operate incubators, autoclave, pH meter, automated colony counter and other related instruments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in probiotics, food science, or pharmaceuticals. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with probiotic strain identification and characterization. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for dietary supplements and functional foods. Familiarity with molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, DNA sequencing).

$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
