Job Description

JOB 2025 SALARY
$23.47 - $31.69 per hour
CLOSING DATE
Open until filled; initial review due July 2, 2026 Applications must be on official forms. Resumes will be accepted, but not in lieu of an application.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; 1 year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and a valid Driver's license.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for completing routine work to support the planning, design, construction, and permitting of County construction projects. Responsibilities may include creating, reviewing, and interpreting plans, maps and engineering calculations; inspecting projects and construction materials; staking; technical writing; and acting as a liaison to the public.
WORK TEST PERIOD
Appointee to the position must successfully complete probationary period per contract.
BACKGROUND CHECK

DRUG TESTING
Applicants selected for appointment must take and pass a drug test.
PHYSICAL-MEDICAL STANDARDS
Applicants must meet essential physical requirements of the position.
