Job Description
Work both in the office as well as outside in weather conditions Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented District Technician to join our team and support environmental and agricultural initiatives across multiple sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to ecological restoration, sustainable farming practices, and environmental compliance. As a District Technician, you will be instrumental in collecting and analyzing data, surveying, staking and designing plans for terraces, waterways, sediment basins and other structures. Inspecting construction of soil and water conservation practices. Your expertise will help shape our efforts to promote healthy ecosystems, and ensure adherence to environmental laws. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about environmental stewardship and technical fieldwork. Responsibilities Surveying and staking Designing/engineering plans for terraces, waterways, structures, and sediment basins Inspecting construction of soil and water conservation practices Oversee rental equipment and inspect/perform routine maintenance Requirements Computer skills High school diploma Valid driver's license Pass a USDA background check The ability to maneuver over rough terrain Agriculture background helpful but not required. We will provide training Successful Candidate Must Have strong computer skills Be willing to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Work as a team player Be self-motivated Have good public relation skills
