Northern Oklahoma College Physical Plant Department Staff Assistant reports to Associate VP of Physical Plant Operations to manage the office, supervise staff and handle duties assigned. The individual must be efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. Have the ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include: Fleet vehicle scheduling Driver scheduling Create and maintain vehicle and fuel usage reports Order supplies from vendors Maintain purchase and invoice files Assist in time card preparation Answer multi line phone system Assist in work order dispatch Data entry Maintain job manual for position with regular updates to describe processes when substitutions are needed Perform all other duties necessary to accomplish the educational objective of the College and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Great customer service skills and strong communication skills. Subject to satisfactory Fair Credit Reporting Act Disclosure that includes a criminal background check. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
A minimum educational level of an associate degree; or one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
