This role involves operating heavy equipment, conducting precise measurements, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and the ability to work in challenging outdoor environments. Duties Operate and maintain borehole logging equipment to collect geophysical data accurately. Perform rigging, setup, and calibration of logging tools in accordance with project specifications. Handle heavy lifting tasks related to equipment and materials required for borehole logging operations. Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of equipment and personnel to various job sites. Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all operations. Maintain detailed logs of operations, measurements, and equipment maintenance activities. Requirements Mechanical knowledge and plus Experience with rigging, rig setup, and heavy lifting techniques, a plus.. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent preferred for driving company vehicles is a plus but​ not required. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the workday. Prior experience in geophysical logging or related environmental/geological fields is a plus but not required. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. This role is vital for the successful collection of geophysical data that informs environmental assessments and resource management projects.
