Opportunity:
Physician -
Radiation Oncology Job Details:
  • Board certified Radiation Oncologist position with locums-to-perm opportunity
  • Must have active or past credentialing privileges for Doctors of Modesto
  • Active California medical license required
  • PALS certification required
  • 90-day credentialing timeframe
  • Comprehensive brachytherapy services including intracavitary, interstitial, vascular/endovascular, and both low and high dose rate treatments
  • External beam therapy capabilities including linear accelerator with Rapid Arc/VMAT, electrons, tomotherapy, and superficial/orthovoltage treatments
  • Advanced techniques including conventional/conformal therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and stereotactic radiosurgery
  • Experience with CyberKnife and Gamma Knife preferred
  • Intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT), total body irradiation (TBI), and total skin electrons (TSE) capabilities
  • Treatment planning expertise including conventional planning, beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, and PET CT or MRI image fusion
  • Electronic portal imaging (EPI) and clinical trials experience preferred
  • Opportunity for hyper altered fractionation protocols
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
