Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in Medical Physics or related field required Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or Board of Medical Physics preferred Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Physicist in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols, compliance standards, and QA procedures Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Adaptability and willingness to work within different healthcare teams
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical physics support for radiation therapy and/or diagnostic imaging Perform calibration, maintenance, and quality assurance on medical equipment Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and technologists to ensure safe, effective patient care Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in periodic audits, process improvement, and training activities
