Qualifications Applicants must have:

A minimum of a Master's degree ABR certification or be a recent graduate of a CAMPEP-accredited Medical Physics Residency program working toward certification Board-certified or board-eligible status (both are encouraged to apply) Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication We will tailor the position based on desired location and departmental clinical coverage guidelines. Clinical Support The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical support at either our downtown photon/proton clinics or one of our regional care centers, depending on experience and qualifications. This could also be a great opportunity for a junior physicist to join and work alongside a senior staff member as they work toward board certification. Technology & Equipment Our department treats over 200 patients daily across five locations in the greater Orlando area, with expansion underway in St. Petersburg.

Treatment planning is performed using full-scale Eclipse/ARIA deployed through Citrix. Our current team includes:

10 photon-clinic physicists 2 proton-clinic physicists 2 therapy physics residents 2 medical physics assistants 3 IT/CE liaisons 1 medical physics research fellow We work closely with 15 highly engaged Radiation Oncologists and 12 certified Medical Dosimetrists, all of whom rely heavily on physicist involvement.
