Position Summary Clinical Physicist Opportunity - Orlando Health Cancer Institute Orlando Health Cancer Institute is seeking a dedicated clinical physicist to join our dynamic team-where on-site clinical coverage and patient-centered care are core values. Qualifications Applicants must have:
A minimum of a Master's degree ABR certification or be a recent graduate of a CAMPEP-accredited Medical Physics Residency program working toward certification Board-certified or board-eligible status (both are encouraged to apply) Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication We will tailor the position based on desired location and departmental clinical coverage guidelines. Clinical Support The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical support at either our downtown photon/proton clinics or one of our regional care centers, depending on experience and qualifications. This could also be a great opportunity for a junior physicist to join and work alongside a senior staff member as they work toward board certification. Technology & Equipment Our department treats over 200 patients daily across five locations in the greater Orlando area, with expansion underway in St. Petersburg.

Treatment planning is performed using full-scale Eclipse/ARIA deployed through Citrix. Team Culture & Growth We value a team-first attitude, collaboration, and enthusiasm for clinical medical physics. Physicists are expected to participate in our CAMPEP-accredited residency program and may engage in clinical research (optional).
Our current team includes:
10 photon-clinic physicists 2 proton-clinic physicists 2 therapy physics residents 2 medical physics assistants 3 IT/CE liaisons 1 medical physics research fellow We work closely with 15 highly engaged Radiation Oncologists and 12 certified Medical Dosimetrists, all of whom rely heavily on physicist involvement. Our department is experiencing significant growth, with multiple expansion opportunities across Central Florida and into Alabama. Senior-level physicist compensation includes annual merit increases and a leader-incentive bonus ranging from 8-12%. Please feel free to contact me for more information about this opportunity.
