Job Description

Medical Physicist / Radiation Oncology Physicist Join a high-impact oncology team where your expertise directly shapes safe, precise, and life-changing cancer treatments. This role blends advanced technology, clinical collaboration, and leadership to ensure exceptional patient care and treatment accuracy. Why You Should Apply Full-time position joining a team of Chief and Staff Physicist Cutting-edge radiation oncology programs Engage in research, education, and professional development activities Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary oncology teams What You'll Be Doing Design and optimize radiation treatment plans with precision and safety Oversee calibration, QA, and performance of radiation therapy equipment Lead quality management programs for external beam and brachytherapy Consult with physicians on treatment planning and patient-specific care Direct physics operations, including staff and equipment oversight Participate in chart rounds, protocol development, and compliance standards About You Be able to do the job as described. ABR or Board of Medical Physics certification Masters or PhD with 3+ years of radiation physics experience Expertise in treatment planning systems, dosimetry, and QA programs Experience leading physics programs and mentoring staff Eligible for Florida state licensure and ACR continuing education compliance Area info : Peaceful, family friendly city on Florida's space coast on the Indian River Lagoon. It's waterfront location offers clean beaches and easy access water sports and fishing. It's just 70 miles southeast of Orlando.
