Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Physicist to provide radiation oncology support in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong proton therapy experience and be capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary oncology team. This assignment is intended to provide coverage during a planned leave and requires a highly skilled professional who can function with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Ensure the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy treatments. Perform quality assurance and quality control procedures for radiation therapy equipment. Support treatment planning and dose calculations for oncology patients. Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, therapists, and other clinical staff. Monitor compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in patient-specific treatment reviews and plan evaluations. Troubleshoot technical and clinical issues related to radiation treatment delivery. Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards. Utilize clinical judgment and technical expertise to support optimal patient outcomes. AL01 Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Medical Physicist experience (3+ years preferred). Active Florida State License. American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certification. Proton Therapy experience required. Ability to work independently without leadership assistance. Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

Pay:
$150.00 - $160.00 per hour
