Imaging Physics, LLC—a medical physics consulting firm based in the Atlanta, GA area—is seeking a motivated Board Certified or Board Eligible Diagnostic Physicist. We seek a professional with strong communication skills, integrity, and work ethic in both independent and team settings.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine Equipment Performance Evaluations of all imaging equipment with an emphasis on Computed Tomography, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and Radiography. 2. Complete accreditation compliance surveys of CT and Mammography equipment including phantom acquisitions, technologist QC review and CT protocol start up, management and dose assessment. 3. Assist with radiation therapy room preparations, radiation safety training of staff and patients, therapy room clean up and radioactive waste management.
Required Skills:
1. Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics 2. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license. The position will require travel by personal car with mileage reimbursement and some air travel. 3. Eligible for State licensure in each U.S. state. We are primarily based in the southeast and have some nationwide clients We offer a flexible work scheduling, Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, monthly mileage and cell phone reimbursement, a generous matching 401K plan, annual profit-sharing and paid time off. Beginning salary range for this position will be commensurate with the applicant's experience, anticipated range $150k+.
