Paulson School of Engineering and Applied SciencesDepartment/AreaApplied PhysicsPosition Description The Loncar Group is looking for a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in nanofabrication, integrated optics, nonlinear optics, and microwave photonics. The candidate will focus on design, fabrication, and characterization of chip-scale photonic devices and systems, and their application in microwave photonics. Basic Qualifications Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or Physics is required Additional Qualifications Strong background and interest in nanofabrication, including development of novel nanofabrication strategies. Expertise with building optical setups, lasers, electronics, including microwave electronics Strong interpersonal and mentorship skills and ability to interact with a diverse team Special Instructions Application requirements include a CV with publications and a minimum of two reference letters.
