Radiation Oncology Physician Opening in

Employed, Hospital-BasedPosition OverviewSeeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join a growing oncology program. The role includes providing care at the primary hospital campus with occasional coverage at a regional oncology location nearby.

This opportunity offers the chance to practice in a newly constructed, comprehensive cancer center scheduled to open in Summer 2026, designed as a fully integrated outpatient oncology facility offering infusion services, exam rooms, radiation oncology, and pediatric oncology care.

Qualifications / Candidate Requirements MD or DO with subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology (ABR certification required) Ability to obtain unrestricted Maryland medical license, CDS, and DEA Minimum three years of post-residency experience preferred Experience with consultations, CT simulations, treatment planning, and follow-up carePreferred experience with: Varian Linear Accelerators (TrueBeam / Edge) Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) including Cone Beam CT Eclipse treatment planning system and ARIA record & verify system Treatment modalities including 3D conformal therapy, SRS, SRT, SBRT, IMRT/VMAT, and HDR CT simulation technologyPosition Highlights / Opportunity Highlights Full-time employed Radiation Oncology position Practice in a new four-story cancer center opening in 2026 Advanced technology including: Varian TrueBeam and Edge linear accelerators Eclipse treatment planning system Philips CT simulator HDR capabilities SRS and SBRT programs with neurosurgical collaboration Collaborative multidisciplinary oncology environment Academic environment with resident and medical student training opportunitiesCompensation & Benefits Guaranteed base salary: $375,000 - $500,000 depending on experience Additional production incentive opportunities Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 403(b) retirement plan and optional 457(b) deferred compensation plan Life and disability insurance Medical malpractice coverage with tail CME allowance Fitness center membership discountsPractice / Program Details Large regional health system serving over one million patients annually Network of multiple hospitals and community practices Academic teaching environment with residency and medical student education programs Comprehensive oncology services integrated within a multidisciplinary cancer centerCommunity OverviewBaltimore offers a dynamic blend of urban and suburban living with access to vibrant cultural attractions, waterfront communities, and family-friendly neighborhoods.
