Job Description

About us Logiqal is on a mission to build the first scaled quantum computer, deploying millions of qubits to tackle the world's most important problems. Our thesis is that you have to build a full scale machine to learn what the actual hard parts are, just like you have to build a full scale rocket before the first launch. We're looking for visionary scientists and engineers to join our team, to move fast and blow stuff up. Based in Princeton, NJ our founding physics team has decades of combined research experience at leading academic and industry labs including Princeton, Harvard, Yale, MIT and Google Quantum. Our approach is based on neutral atom qubit technology developed in research labs at Princeton by the founding team. Our scalable systems are composed of manufacturable sub-modules, controlled by state-of-the-art CMOS optoelectronics, and designed around a unique computer architecture. We're assembling a founding team to help us build the full-stack systems that will power this next leap in computing. If you're excited to build something that's never existed before at the cutting edge of physics and engineering, the chance to shape both the technology and the company from the ground up, come build with us! About this role In this role, you will work on all aspects of Logiqal's neutral atom quantum processors, with a particular focus on bringing up our first-generation modular systems. You will work closely with optical systems engineers to develop sub-systems, with the controls and software teams to refine control and data analysis pipelines, and with the computer architecture team to design and implement demonstration experiments to validate key performance metrics. You might be a good fit if you have experience with: Neutral atom quantum computers, or closely related topics in experimental atomic physics Quantum gate calibration Designing experiments to efficiently test hypotheses, creative problem solving Oral and written communication of scientific data Logiqal provides a comprehensive range of perks and benefits, including: fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees (with a significant contribution for dependent coverage) unlimited paid time off for vacation, sick leave and personal days equity in the company. The base salary range for this position is between $130,000 - $175,000, commensurate with experience. For more information, contact jobs@logiqal.com .
