  • Radiation Oncology Opening in Virginia
  • Located in Abingdon, Virginia A radiation oncology opening is available in Abingdon, Virginia with a well-established cancer program offering advanced technology and strong system-wide support. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing oncology service line within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
  • About the Position
  • Full-time hospital-employed position
  • Outpatient-focused oncology practice
  • Average daily patient volume of approximately 25
  • Office hours Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm
  • Strong emphasis on work-life balance
  • Practice Highlights
  • Comprehensive cancer care services including medical oncology, radiation oncology, hematology, and infusion
  • Accredited cancer center through the Commission on Cancer
  • EPIC EMR and ARIA oncology system
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary oncology team
  • Technology and Equipment
  • TrueBeam linear accelerator
  • Eclipse treatment planning system (SRS, SBRT)
  • External beam radiation including 3D, IMRT, and electron therapy
  • New GE CT scanner with 4D gating system (coming online)

  • Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
