Days (No Weekends) Position Overview A healthcare organization is seeking a qualified Physicist to support advanced clinical care in an acute care environment. This role focuses on enhancing patient safety and treatment effectiveness through the application of medical physics principles, particularly in specialized areas such as oncology and neuroscience. Key Responsibilities Support clinical teams in applying medical physics principles to patient care Ensure the safe and effective use of advanced medical technologies Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals in treatment planning and execution Maintain compliance with safety standards and clinical protocols Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives Support specialized clinical programs, including oncology and neuroscience services Ensure accuracy, precision, and safety in clinical systems and procedures Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Physics or a related field (required) Minimum 2+ years of experience in a clinical or acute care setting Residency candidates may be considered Strong understanding of medical physics applications in healthcare environments Preferred Skills Experience working in hospital or acute care settings Knowledge of radiation therapy, imaging systems, or related technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary clinical teams For more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
