About the role. Reporting to the Vice President of Agriculture & Sustainability, the Senior Manager, Agriculture Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) is accountable for the integration of Agriculture with the rest of the McCain North American business. Leading the Ag ISC, Potato Contracting, and Ag Engineering functions, this role ensures adequate potato supply matched in volume and quality to our production plans, owns our North American contracting strategy/execution and grower partnership model, oversees strategy and execution of our portfolio of capital projects, and stewards the cross-functional interfaces between Agriculture and Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and more. The Senior Manager leads a team of three across NA and serves as a key representative of Agriculture to our wider business. Direct reports include the ISC Manager, Ag Contracts Lead, and Ag Engineering Manager. What you'll be doing. Agricultural Contracting Define and maintain documentation of contracting business processes; train teams as needed. Develop pricing proposals and negotiation strategies for annual potato contracting with a focus on SCA delivery and sustainable efficiencies that benefit the total supply chain (capture new variety preferential pricing, move value from base to incentives that drive factory value, etc.). Lead execution (actual negotiations) for commercial potato contracting and seed potato contracting with support from the Contracts Lead. Provide oversight for the Contracts Lead on cost of production data collection and insights, contract valuation, annual collection of negotiation priorities from our factories, pricing proposals, market research and benchmarking, regulatory changes, contract administration and internal controls compliance, regional third-party freight haulage negotiations, and our Ag World relationship. Work closely with area Directors and regional teams to ensure a collaborative and mutually beneficial relationship with our farmers network across North America that drives efficiencies throughout the supply chain. Attend and represent McCain in agricultural industry events. Integrated Supply Chain Define and maintain documentation of ISC business processes; train teams as needed. Lead our overarching supply strategy to ensure adequate potato supply matched in volume and quality to our production plans. Provide oversight for the ISC Manager on monthly potato position reporting by NA plant location, annual post-harvest inventory and regular bin sampling, capture of in-season market intelligence (price, quality, and quantity of open-market potatoes), scenario-based decision making for supply and demand balancing under variability (yield, quality, demand, et.), risk management and contingency planning, annual contract coverage proposal, unique raw management (wedge, Innovator, Regen Fries, etc.), Field Team support using category management tools to strategically allocate volume, and more. Represent Agriculture in the Supply Gap Review (SGR) step of our S&OP process. Ensure the ISC Manager is partnering with the Seed & Variety team to align seed pipelines and new variety adoption with long-range commercial plans (2-7 year horizon). Work with the ISC Manager to define the digital roadmap for Ag ISC (decision tools, AI, predictive analytics, optimization models) and partner with digital teams to embed AI and decision intelligence into planning workflows. Drive transition from reporting to actionable insights leveraging AI and modern technologies (e.g., Power BI, AI-enabled tools). Agricultural Engineering Define and maintain documentation of agricultural engineering business processes; train teams as needed. Ensure agricultural capital projects and equipment procurement connect to our wider NA Ag strategy and deliver SCA and supply security. Deliver our annual capital spend goals and ROI/SCA with 0 TRIR. Provide oversight for the Ag Engineering Manager on our annual capital planning process (NA and Global), long-range capital plans, automation of our project tracking and dashboarding, REA development, equipment procurement, project execution, SCA delivery, fleet program management, and grant applications to offset costs. Lead socialization of critical projects with cross-functional stakeholders and where appropriate, chair cross-functional steering committees to provide oversight and support for project execution. Lead the agriculture process engineering work by performing data analytics and statistical analysis to continuously optimize raw quality cost vs factory performance. People Leadership Drive the talent agenda for their assigned business unit by coaching, providing talent development opportunities, and succession planning while creating a culture of safety, diversity, equity & inclusion. Translate organizational strategy into frontline outcomes by aligning team priorities with business goals Navigate and lead through change and ambiguity by modeling resilience, facilitating AI and workflow experimentation within the team, and creating space for innovation What you'll need to be successful. Undergraduate Degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Business, or Operations with an emphasis on business and technology adoption; MBA is a strong plus. 5-7 years of Agriculture, Supply Chain, or related management experience, including experience managing a team or leading cross-functional initiatives. Demonstrated negotiation and strategic relationship management experience, ideally including grower or supplier contracting. Proven ability to develop and nurture strong cross-functional and departmental relationships with Finance, Manufacturing, Planning, and Supply Chain partners. Experienced in analyzing data and information to communicate recommendations that positively influence business direction and results; working knowledge of PowerBI and Microsoft Office. Hands-on experience applying analytics, AI, and digital tools to solve complex supply chain problems and shape data-driven decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to represent Agriculture to senior leadership and external audiences. Proven resiliency and collaboration in the face of challenging circumstances; displays accountability with a focus on delivering results aligned with strategic and tactical objectives. Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time within North America, including in-region visits and industry events as business needs require. About the team. $107,600.00•$143,500.00 . USD annually + Bonus eligibility The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
