We have an opportunity available for a Research Product Lead (RPL) to lead cutting-edge immunology programs from early discovery through to first-in-human readiness. This is a highly visible, strategic role where you will own and shape the direction of complex R D programs, working at the intersection of science, strategy, and execution. As a Research Product Lead, you will act as the end-to-end leader of an immunology programs, guiding it them from concept through candidate selection and into early clinical development. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive data-driven decisions, and ensure that every milestone is aligned to delivering meaningful therapeutic innovation. Key responsibilities Lead the strategy and end-to-end execution of immunology research programs from early discovery through candidate selection and transition into development Drive evidence-based decision-making by ensuring high-quality scientific and translational data packages are generated and integrated Own program timelines, milestones, and key Go/No-Go decisions, including stage-gate reviews and governance Identify risks and opportunities, and lead mitigation strategies while communicating clearly to teams and senior stakeholders Identify and implement acceleration opportunities across programs, ensuring scientific rigor while driving rapid progress Lead and align cross-functional teams across research and development to ensure seamless program execution and transition Provide scientific leadership in immunology, shaping product profiles and development strategies to progress programs to first-in-human readiness Build and manage external partnerships and represent the program with internal leadership and external stakeholders Contribute to the Immunology TA strategy via identification of new opportunities and collaborators and due diligence processes for potential new portfolio assets About you You are a scientific leader and program driver who can connect cutting-edge research with real-world therapeutic impact. What you'll bring PhD, MD or equivalent in immunology or a related field 8+ years' experience in pharma/biotech, spanning drug discovery through early development Proven success leading programs from concept to candidate selection and IND-enabling stages Deep expertise in immunology, with ability to translate biology into therapeutic strategies Strong experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment Highly regarded Experience with biologics (e.g. monoclonal, bispecific or multi-specific antibodies) Background in autoimmune or inflammatory diseases Experience working across global R D environments Why join CSL?
