You Are:
A MedTech R D expert with an in-depth understanding of how business, technology, and operations intersect. You've got the know-how to help our MedTech clients design, build, and deploy solutions to help them get the right therapies to patients faster. You get a sense of quiet satisfaction from using your analytical talents to solve problems in new and creative ways. Plus, you always find a way to explain those ideas, thanks to above average communications, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Help clients, and other organizations in the broader healthcare ecosystem, get the right therapies to patients faster Assess and improve R D processes and their underlying technology platforms Provide R D technology subject matter expertise in areas such as PLM, product development, Regulatory compliance, etc. Advise clients on how they can shape the next generation of technology capabilities to become data-driven, AI enabled organizations Typical projects consist of definition of a IT roadmap, assessment of current technology footprint, and/or design and implementation of R D systems to achieve a desired future state. Build relationships with client stakeholders that help Accenture become a trusted partner Coach junior team members Spot and pursue business development opportunities Develop Accenture's thought leadership in MedTech R D Travel - candidate should be willing to travel up to 75% to client locations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting and the MedTech R D industry in at least one of the following areas: product design, product development, pharmacovigilance, regulatory, medical affairs, MD&D (medical device and diagnostics), EBP (evidence based practice), or related areas such as CRO's, health institutions, health technology companies, etc. Minimum of 3 years of MedTech segment-level expertise (e.g. cardiovascular, general surgery, diabetes, diagnostics, etc.) Minimum of 3 years of experience leading, consulting for, or supporting R D technology programs for MedTech. A Bachelor's degree Bonus Points If (Preferred Skills) Your Bachelor's degree has a major in science or health engineering You have a deep understanding of MedTech R D and product lifecycle processes and technologies You have experience working with and/or leading teams, clients, and vendors using your exceptional team building, mentoring, people development, and management skills You have experience working with Life Sciences R D professionals applying excellent client-facing communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills You work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, and apply structure to your problem solving Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
