How will you have an impact? Lead a multidisciplinary team of scientists developing products and solutions for detecting cellular targets and functions using flow cytometry, imaging, and cell-based assay platforms. You will inspire teams to apply novel technologies and improved processes that deliver first-in-class customer solutions. Partner with senior R D leadership, business teams, product management, quality, operations, and marketing to develop products that provide ease-of-use, improved productivity, and high-quality results. This role requires an experienced functional leader with strong communication skills who leads with determination and empathy, collaborates effectively across teams to inspire innovation, and works effectively across a global matrixed organization while representing R D. What will you do? Lead biological research and product development activities supporting flow cytometry, imaging, and cell-based assays Evaluate schedules, scope, cost, and risk for R D programs while prioritizing resources to explore new technologies Foster an energizing, patent-developing environment that contributes to sustained business growth Provide scientific guidance and resources to manufacturing, technical support, and quality teams Mentor multiple managers who each lead teams of 5-10 scientists Build an impactful R D team by hiring, developing, and engaging employees to enable their growth and professional development Collaborate with business leadership and R D Directors to maintain alignment on priority projects Build robust internal and external networks with Key Opinion Leaders in flow cytometry and imaging research communities Generate thought leadership through scientific conferences, talks, tutorials, publications, and customer interactions How will you get here?

Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentations) with demonstrated ability to influence through straightforward communication Commercial acumen and business intuition; ability to recognize growth opportunities and drive technical innovation Ability to analyze complex issues, draw conclusions, and formulate clear strategy and policies Up to 25% global travel Extensive cell biological laboratory experience with strong knowledge of immunology, flow cytometry, imaging, and fluorescence detection technologies Extensive experience in designing and implementing multicolor flow cytometry and imaging panels Demonstrated ability to manage complex research and development programs Ph.D. in Immunology, Neurobiology, Oncology, Biology, or related field with 5+ years of relevant industrial experience, OR BS/MS with 10+ years of relevant industrial experience Preferred:
