These positions are exclusively open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people Between $67,207 to $89,530, plus 15.4% superannuation Opportunities available in various locations across the Australian Government at a Graduate, APS Level 3 and APS Level 4 Applications for the 2027 Australian Government Graduate Program (AGGP) - Indigenous Graduate Pathway (IGP) are now open! One application, endless opportunities. The experience Graduates in the APS gain hands-on, real-world experience combined with formal development designed to build strong professional foundations. This approach helps graduates develop skills, confidence and networks that support long term career success Graduates employed through the Indigenous Graduate Pathway typically undertake a structured program within a participating agency that includes: Work rotations that expose graduates to different business areas and policy, service or regulatory work Meaningful, real-world projects that contribute to government outcomes On-the-job learning and formal training to build strong professional foundations Opportunities to build networks with other graduates, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, leaders and allies across the APS Programs generally run for 12 to 24 months, with roles, locations and salaries determined by the hiring agency. For all roles, you will need to have demonstrated capabilities in the following areas: Supports strategic direction Achieves results Supports productive working relationships Communicates with influence Displays personal dive and integrity Eligibility The Indigenous Graduate Pathway is an affirmative measures round, where eligibility is limited to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander graduates who have completed an undergraduate degree (Australian Qualification Framework Level 7) or higher. To be eligible, you must: Be an Australian citizen. Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and be able to provide proof of your Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage throughout the recruitment process. Have completed, at minimum, a three (3)-year undergraduate degree at an AQF level 7 or above between January 2022 and December 2026. Be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, with the level of clearance specific in your offer of employment.
