Summary of Job Duties:

The Research Assistant is responsible for executing clinical research projects, chart reviews, and other projects. This position will work closely with faculty in the Department's Otolaryngology to develop and execute projects. The Research Assistant will work with faculty on writing research papers, articles or abstracts, and could present findings at meetings (virtual or in person).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in biology, chemistry or related field plus 1 year of research experience.

Assist faculty with the development, coordination, and execution of clinical research projects within the Department of Otolaryngology Conduct comprehensive chart reviews and ensure accurate data collection, entry, and management Analyze research data and assist in interpreting results for ongoing studies Support the preparation of research manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, and scholarly articles Collaborate with faculty and research team members to ensure project timelines and objectives are met Maintain organized and compliant research documentation in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines Assist with literature reviews to support study design and publication efforts Participate in research meetings and contribute to project discussions and updates Present research findings at departmental meetings, conferences, or other professional venues (virtual or in person) Perform other research-related duties as assigned
