Research Associate III / Senior Research Associate - Onsite

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Research Associate III / Senior Research Associate for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Tucson, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for conducting research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support company projects. The ideal candidate will independently design experimental plans, execute bench experiments, analyze data, and prepare technical reports. This position requires working on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation Design experimental plans to support project objectives Execute bench experiments; make detailed and general observations and analyze data Prepare technical reports, summaries and quantitative analyses Act independently to develop methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Identify and implement improvements to work processes and laboratory environment Work on extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria Participate or lead cross-functional technical teams Work well in a team environment by being a productive project team member, suggesting creative solutions to problems and providing input to project planning Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective action Prepare and present experimental procedures and results in group and project teams

Requirements:

For Research Associate III:

Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant post-college experience

For Senior Research Associate:

Bachelor's degree with 6 or more years of relevant post-college experience OR a Master's degree with 1 year of experience Candidates with a Ph.D will not be considered for this role Desired skills: Previous industry experience Experience with Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) Pay range: up to $37.77 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
