Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Research Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting the Principal Investigator in various clinical and administrative tasks. This is an opportunity to work in a fast growing research environment and make a positive impact on patients' lives.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, measuring height and weight, and collecting patient information
• Assist the Principal Investigator with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Administer medications as directed by the Principal Investigator
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment
• Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic life support techniques
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
