PM Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Development Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for recent Bachelor's or Master's graduates in a life sciences field who have hands-on laboratory experience, particularly in mammalian cell culture and/or protein purification. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, highly trainable, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present scientific data are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mammalian cell culture experiments at various scales (shake flasks, culture bags, and bioreactors) Execute purification experiments including filtration, chromatography, and UFDF Support process and technology development initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability Program and operate automated laboratory equipment (bioreactors, chromatography systems, robotic liquid handlers) Troubleshoot process and equipment issues Design experiments and analyze data using visualization and analytics tools Maintain accurate lab documentation in notebooks Prepare and present technical reports and findings
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or a related field Hands-on laboratory experience in cell culture and/or protein purification Experience with data analysis and visualization tools Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to automation or programming for laboratory equipment Experience working in a fast-paced research or development setting
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between $25.00 - 26.00 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
