Job Description

Our Research team in San Francisco produces the analysis that traders and internal desks rely on to understand a market that never closes. CoinUnited has been building since 2018, giving traders one account to reach crypto, stocks, indices, forex, commodities and pre-IPO around the clock. We are looking for a Crypto Research Analyst who can turn raw on-chain and market data into clear, trustworthy conclusions. This role is based in our San Francisco office and forms part of our operations across Americas. You will work to San Francisco market hours and support the international order flow connected to the the USA market. About CoinUnited.io CoinUnited.io is a crypto-powered trading platform, building since 2018, with teams across 10 countries. We give traders one account to reach global markets around the clock: crypto, stocks, indices, forex, commodities and pre-IPO. What you'll do Research crypto assets, protocols and emerging narratives, and translate findings into concise written reports with a stated thesis. Pull and interpret on-chain data such as flows, holder behaviour, liquidity and contract activity to support or challenge a view. Track market structure across crypto and adjacent asset classes, monitoring funding, volatility and correlation as conditions shift through the 24/7 cycle. Build and maintain dashboards and repeatable models so the team can react quickly to fast moving markets. Brief internal stakeholders on risks, catalysts and second order effects in plain language they can act on. Verify sources, document assumptions and flag uncertainty so the research stays trusted and reproducible. What success looks like in your first six months You publish a regular cadence of research notes that internal desks read and reference in their decisions. You have built at least one on-chain or market data workflow that the team now uses on a recurring basis. You have earned a reputation for accuracy by clearly separating evidence from opinion and surfacing risks early. Must-have Solid understanding of crypto assets, blockchains and how on-chain data reflects real activity. Ability to read market and on-chain data and form a defensible, well reasoned view. Clear written communication that turns complex analysis into sharp, readable conclusions. Comfort with data tools such as SQL, Python or spreadsheet modelling to gather and analyse data yourself. Nice-to-have Experience with on-chain analytics platforms such as Dune, Nansen or Glassnode. Familiarity with traditional markets including equities, forex or commodities and how they interact with crypto. Prior work producing research or commentary for a trading, fund or media audience.
