Biologist (ARA) - II (Associate)

JSG is recruiting a Biologist (ARA) - II (Associate) for a client located in South San Francisco CA. In this vital role, you will contribute to cutting-edge in-vivo studies, supporting the development of innovative therapies in areas such as oncology, cardiovascular, and metabolic diseases. Pay $39.46/hour

What You Will Do:

Execute and support complex in-vivo experiments, including dosing, blood sampling, tissue collection, and animal handling. Collaborate with research teams to design and implement studies with minimal supervision. Assist with perioperative care, animal husbandry, and weekend facility oversight. Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams. Maintain high standards of animal welfare and research compliance.

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience working with small laboratory animals, particularly in dosing, bleeding, and tissue handling. Proficiency in in-vivo pharmacokinetics, oncology, cardio-metabolic disease models, or biologics research. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Have Skills:

Experience in experimental design, data analysis, and collaboration across disciplines. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques related to in-vivo studies. Prior experience with perioperative animal care and emergency response procedures.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 or more years, or Master's degree with at least 1 year of in-vivo experience in biological sciences. Additional industry experience is a plus.

Other Requirements:

Flexibility to cover weekend shifts as needed. Commitment to maintaining ethical animal care and handling standards. No PhD required.

Standard shift:
