We have over 2,300 people who are #HappyatFoley, and we think you will be too. #LI-Hybrid The IP Transfer Analyst will assist the IP Transfer Team with reviewing and processing new intellectual property files in accordance with the IP file transfer procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming client files to the Intellectual Property Department. The Analyst will intake and quality review incoming transfers as well as open new matters through our IP Transfer Database. Additionally, the Analyst will prepare and file U.S. and Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) Powers of Attorney for active matters as well as correspond with foreign associates requesting status updates. This person will also assist with performing docket file audits to assess current prosecution status and upcoming due dates and assist the Docketing Department when needed. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of IP prosecution/docketing and will gain an understanding of the firm's overall client/matter intake, records management policies and procedures. Responsibilities Assist with filing power of attorney for active matters as well as corresponding with foreign associates Entering data into the IP Transfer Database via electronic imports or manual entry Assist with performing docket file audits Assist with ESI reconciliation Perform other duties as needed to support the IP Transfer Team Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or technical training beyond high school is preferred Minimum of three (3) years of U.S. or foreign patent prosecution and/or trademark IP experience required Proficiency with U.S. and foreign patent and trademark office websites and the ability to research and locate data In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The figures below represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be between the range minimum and midpoint based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley. -Boston, Washington D.C. - $76,700 to $107,400
