Expect:
The Applied Research Scientist is responsible for development and conduct of community and public health PI/QI and research projects. Develops, implements and conducts Applied Research projects in partnership with Principal Investigators, health care providers, post-doctoral fellows, academic partners and local businesses or agencies. Publishes Applied Research projects in peer-reviewed journals. Develops, submits and manages grants, philanthropy or other external funding related to Applied Research. Identifies opportunities to integrate, collaborate and expand Applied Research projects through partnerships while ensuring sufficient resources are available to sustain and complete each project. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have experience in biostatistics and experience in public health initiatives
