Research Pharmacy Technician - Lenexa, KS (Onsite) ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization. The Research Pharmacy Technician will support the clinical research team by managing investigational drugs, ensuring proper storage and handling, and assisting in the preparation and dispensing of study medications. Your role will contribute to the safe and effective administration of therapies in clinical trials.
Location:
Lenexa, KS USA Hours:
Full-Time; Monday - Friday 6:30/7:00am arrival time (occasional evenings/weekends as needed) What you will be doing: Compiles investigational medicinal products (IMP) for patients and clinical studies Processes physician's IMP orders Organizes, labels and packages investigational medicinal products Compound sterile products for IV administration Monitors facility safety procedures to ensure regulatory compliance Works as an operator or verifier in a manufacturing environment Cleans manufacturing areas and equipment to ensure safety guidelines and regulations are met Has materials sterilized when used in a sterile environment Supports material receipt, warehouse management Supports completing process of study binders Your profile: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and registered with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy (KSBoP) 1-2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with needle/syringe experience preparing intravenous dosing Detail oriented with an ability to follow precise instructions Strong communication skills with an ability to work with a team Experience with sterile compounding (preferred) Clinical research experience and familiarity with investigational drug protocols (preferred) Ability to work early mornings (6:30/7:00am arrival time), plus occasional evenings and weekends #LI-TP1 #LI-Onsite What ICON can offer you: Our success depends on the quality of our people.
