Job Summary Summary This role is designed for candidates who plan to pursue advanced graduate studies (e.g., a Ph.D. or M.D.) and offers an opportunity to engage in rigorous research projects under the mentorship of leading scholars. The position provides hands-on experience in research methodologies, data analysis, and academic writing, making it an excellent stepping stone for future educational and research careers. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions- Ability to work objectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Collaborate on research projects, contributing to study design, data collection, and analysis.
- Conduct systematic literature reviews to summarize existing research in the field.
- Develop and maintain datasets for research purposes.
- Perform statistical, quantitative, and/or computational analyses.
- Organize, attend and effectively participate in team meetings, workshops, and seminars.
- Assist in the preparation of teaching or training materials as needed.
- Draft, edit, and contribute to research publications, presentations, and grant proposals.
- Proficient time-management and organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of clinical research protocols.
- Must possess proficient analytical skills.
- Proficient in critical thinking and data analysis abilities.
- Desire to work both objectively and lead within a team unit.
- Commitment to ethical standards in research and patient care.
- Proficient in database management and computer skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines and lead research teams.
- Excellent judgment and ability to interpret information and protocol.
