Work Schedule:
Mon to Fri, From 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pay rate:
USD 15.00

Contract:
W2 under staffing supplier; with a 6-month duration (temp to hire)
Qualifications:
  • 1-5 years experience
  • Hands on experience in general laboratory tasks including proper chemical handling
  • Basic data processing and analysis
  • Manages and documents projects and tasks effectively with supervision
  • Materials processing experience is a plus
  • Work experience related to abrasives is preferred
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Research Technician include:
  • Safely performs specialized R D assignments, involving testing, analyzing, improving, installing, operating, and/or solving problems concerning our processes, equipment, and products.
  • Supports engineers and scientists in R D team with their projects
  • Prepares/processes materials samples including:
  • Active involvement in standard and exploratory experiment design,
  • Routine laboratory activity to make or prep materials and test samples,
  • Development work with non-routine R D assignments such as design of fixtures for experimental set-up and establishing proper data acquisition.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Work in both the R D and industry environments at the same time.
