Senior Functional Analyst (Research Scientist) Senior Functional Analyst (Research Scientist)
Location:
Bethesda, MD (on-site)Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst (Research Scientist) to support a federal client specializing in federal healthcare and research operations.

In this role, you will provide scientific and analytical expertise to advance strategic research initiatives focused on psychological health, traumatic brain injury, and warfighter brain health. Your work will directly support research evaluation, program effectiveness assessments, and the dissemination of evidence-based practices that inform clinical care and policy.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Functional Analyst (Research Scientist), you will:
  • Support government leadership in advancing the client's research agenda
  • Conduct research studies and analyses evaluating long-term outcomes associated with psychological health conditions and traumatic brain injury
  • Assess program effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve clinical care models and research initiatives
  • Develop peer-reviewed manuscripts, white papers, technical briefs, and best practice reports
  • Collaborate with clinical and research teams to translate findings into operational improvements
  • Support knowledge dissemination across stakeholders and contribute to peer-reviewed literature
  • Assist in developing and monitoring standard operating procedures (SOPs) for research activities
  • Provide meeting coordination and support for scientific working groups
  • Assist with grant writing efforts and research proposal submissions. Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • PhD in a relevant scientific or healthcare-related field
  • Experience supporting clinical or health-related research initiatives
  • Strong analytical and research writing skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with research program evaluation and scientific analyses
  • Demonstrated experience with psychological health and traumatic brain injury research
  • Experience developing peer-reviewed publications and technical reports
  • Ability to perform cross-disciplinary collaboration with clinical and research teams
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation workflows, data entry standards, and health information management processes Why Join Blue Rose?
