Job Description

You will serve as a
SCIENTIST
in the Research & Engineering Department (E), Research & Evaluation Division (E6), Novel Materials & Characterization Branch (E61) of
NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project.
Qualifications:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading and developing synthetic chemistry of energetic materials to independently capture and manage externally funded explosives research.
