Our top researchers all play an active role in shaping research directions, engaging with sponsors, and contributing substantively to proposal development and execution. Staff at this level are also relied upon to bring expert judgment to novel problems and to translate ideas into executable, funded work aligned with mission and sponsor priorities.

While this role does not carry line-management responsibility, your experience and perspective will naturally influence the technical quality, direction, and credibility of our group's work. Qualifications You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have... A PhD degree in a field related to Artificial Intelligence. 15+ years of experience in AI research, demonstrated through sustained peer-reviewed publications. Examples of concrete, meaningful contributions made to funded research efforts, including proposal development. A track record of independently advancing research ideas from concept to execution. Are able to obtain an Interim Top Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked.
