Research Technician

We are seeking a Research Technician to join our Molecular Imaging Team in Mattawan, MI. This entry-level role supports preclinical research through animal care, data collection, and study-related activities. Key Responsibilities As a Research Technician, you will: Administer test substances to laboratory animals Perform daily animal husbandry, including: Cleaning and transporting cages Providing food and water Conduct clinical observations to assess animal health, morbidity, and mortality Collect, label, and handle biological samples and study data Perform animal euthanasia in accordance with approved protocols Assist veterinarians, researchers, and management with: Animal care Study-related tasks Process improvement initiatives Accurately document observations and data using computerized systems Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (required) 0-6 months of related experience (training provided) Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) General computer proficiency with ability to learn validated systems Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines Flexibility to work extended or nonstandard hours when needed, including: Evenings Weekends Additional shifts on short notice Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship Preferred Skills (Not Required) Previous experience with animal care, laboratory work, or research settings Coursework or interest in biology, animal science, veterinary technology, or biomedical research Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols

Compensation :

$20.00 - $21.50 per hour Compensation is based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.
