The Research and Evaluation Student Worker will provide assistance on research projects including conducting literature reviews and information summaries for use with stakeholders, contributing to the development of OHE data products, assisting OHE staff in research, stakeholder engagement and training, supporting document and data preparation, performing administrative tasks as required, and responding to ad hoc data requests. This position is expected to last through September 2027.

Resume must demonstrate the following qualifications: + Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in education policy, research, or a related field. + Research, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. + Experience conducting literature reviews and synthesizing research findings. + Intermediate Microsoft Office experience including preparing charts, graphs, and tables. + Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate highly technical information to lay persons and professionals. + Willing to learn: SQL, Excel, SPSS, PowerBI.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Skill in writing SQL codes. + Experience using Excel, SPSS, and PowerBI. + Demonstrated expertise in data collection and analysis. + Be able to identify barriers to successful completion of projects and address those barriers appropriately. + Aptitude for and interest in technical learning, including new software tools and data analytics processes.
- Physical Requirements
- + Ability to position self and move sufficiently to; sort and file documents and perform repetitive tasks.
+ Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. + Ability to use folding machine for large mailings after training received. + Lift and move paper supply boxes up to 20 pounds as needed.
