Full Job Description Job Overview:
The Scientist supports client engagements by contributing to the collection and analysis of primary and secondary data and assisting in the development of client deliverables. This role focuses on executing project-specific tasks, applying analytical methods, and supporting project teams. Success is demonstrated through accuracy, timeliness, and effective collaboration.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Support project teams in understanding client requirements and assigned deliverables. Prepare draft sections of proposals, reports, and presentations following established formats. Conduct data collection and analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods. Identify and gather information from databases, literature, and other research sources. Summarize findings, patterns, and trends identified in data. Assist in developing findings and recommendations aligned to client needs. Prepare written deliverables including memos, reports, and supporting documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to meet project timelines and quality standards. Participate in project and client meetings to support execution activities. Maintain documentation and adhere to established processes and quality standards. Support continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing efforts. And all other duties as needed or assigned. Qualifications (Minimum Required): Bachelor's or M aster's degree in public health, health economics, clinical science, or related discipline. Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements. Strong communication , organization, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical tools. Experience (Minimum Required): 5 year s of relevant research or consulting experience in healthcare, life sciences, or related field. Experience with data analysis and reporting preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Advanced degree in public health, health economics, clinical science, or related discipline. Expertise in research qualitative and quantitative research methods. Physical Demands /
Work Environment:
Work Environment :
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international.
Physical Requirements :
Frequently stationery for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck. Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf. Light to moderate lifting and carrying , or moving of objects , including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs. Regular and consistent attendance.
