Job Description

The Assistant Director - Research and Operations is responsible for creating and executing the research agenda for the Clifton Strengths Institute in the College of Business. This position is also responsible for working closely with the Executive Director to design and execute the operations and project management of various initiatives of the Institute. The Clifton Strengths Institute is a first-of-its kind program promoting student development and success through helping students discover their CliftonStrengths to maximize their potential. The Institute was founded in August 2015 with the goal to help Nebraska, the nation and the world identify the next generation of high-achieving leaders, entrepreneurs, and business builders to develop economic growth and prosperity. The Clifton Strengths Institute is a model for other organizations to learn to recognize individual potential and develop leaders who build and strengthen businesses and create more great jobs and great lives. Documented work experience in research design, data collection, data organization, and data analysis. Documented experience utilizing analysis programs (e.g., SPSS, Tableau, Excel, etc.). Experience communicating research and discoveries to a broad range of constituencies. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to creatively implement solutions. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or graduate certificate in data analytics, research methodology, or related fields. Knowledge of the CliftonStrengths assessment and demonstrated ability to employ strengths-based methodologies.
