Position Information Job Title Research Assistant - Biomechanics - Other Hourly Worker
Department Biomechanics
Essential Functions Extract key insights and quantitative metrics from histological and medical images
Test biological tissues mechanically and analyze and interpret biomechanical data from experimental studies
Assist in development and testing of benchtop systems for medical device evaluation
Support data processing, documentation, and reporting
Assist with large animal surgeries Work Schedule Additional Duties Required Qualifications Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering, or other related fields.
Experience working with biological tissues and large animal models.
Experience analyzing biomechanical data Preferred Qualifications Experience assisting surgeons in operating room
Experience working with human and animal blood vessels.
