Posting Summary Rutgers, the State University of Jersey, is seeking a per diem Temporary Research Assistant for the department of Pediatrics for the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The primary purpose of the research assistant position is to support research that focuses on study of the natural history of rare disorders. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Assisting in the development of Red Cap based survey for DOCK3 and DEAF1 associated disorders. Recruiting potential participants and obtaining informed consent in clinical and community settings. Updating the list of publications associated with these disorders. Assisting with data collection, basic analysis and preparation of abstracts and manuscripts with supervision. FLSA Nonexempt Grade 99H Salary Details $30 per hour Minimum Salary 15.92 Mid Range Salary 75.00 Maximum Salary 150.00 Offer Information The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience in manuscript preparation for publishing and working with the IRB is a plus.
