As a Research Scientist, you'll also actively contribute to the wider research community by sharing and publishing your findings, with ideas inspired by internal projects as well as from collaborations with research programs at partner universities and technical institutes all over the world. This requires equal parts ML research and security expertise: designing training pipelines, reward functions, and evaluation benchmarks grounded in realistic security scenarios, then deploying those systems in real-world settings. In a given week, you might fine-tune a foundation model on multi-step exploitation trajectories, design a reward function that captures nuanced security reasoning, build a security-focused RL environment, or architect an evaluation harness that measures agent performance across offensive and defensive security tasks. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
