JOB DESCRIPTIONS
This person will be responsible for administrative aspects of the project including IRB filings and compliance, coordination of the research procedures and administration of behavioral/EEG and fMRI testing. The TBH will work under the clinical supervision of Dr. Javitt and research supervision of Dr. Martinez.
JOB DUTIES
Run EEG, fMRI, and eye tracking studies on patients with schizophrenia. Analyze recorded data using Matlab, EEGlab, BESA and other analysis programs; perform statistical analysis of data using SPSS and Matlab; supervise and maintain laboratory; participate in scheduling experiments, and running behavioral neuropsychological experiments.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
BA or BS is required Experience managing an EEG laboratory, including programming with software such as Presentation and E-Prime Experience conducting EEG data analysis using tools like
Matlab, BESA, and SPSS Preferred Qualifications:
BA or BS in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field. Experience working with clinical populations and administering neuropsychological assessments Familiarity with both human and non-human (e.g., rodent) research subjects is highly valued in, cluding experience with rodent electrophysiology and neural recording techniques
